Making the Most of Working From Home in a Mindful Way
While most of us are working from home these days and have been for a while. Finding a sense of well-being and mindfulness isn’t always easy to maintain productivity throughout the day. Check out some of our suggestions to keep you on track throughout the work day.
Have a designated workspace
This one might not seem like an important one but working from your couch or bed doesn’t leave you with a space that’s not related to work. Creating a space in your home that’s solely dedicated to work creates a barrier, enabling you to switch off from work when you need to.
Take short breaks throughout the day
It’s easy to overwork when working from home, so restricting yourself to normal work hours can help create limits and allow for your personal time. Taking short breaks throughout the day, not only helps you to move around but also helps to boost attention and performance. Why not go a step further and go for a short walk during your lunch break too!
Stick to a daily routine
It's great that you have more time to sleep in, but catching the end of the morning news or laying in bed can easily disrupt your productivity. Having a morning routine before starting work will not only give you that same going to work feeling but will also send your mind signals that you’re ready to seize the day!
